Manchester United is very confuse about Varane a drama that hurts a hamstring.
Former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam has said he does not understand. Why Raphael Varane had to express his deep regret. After the injury sustained in the draw against Chelsea in the last Premier League match.
The France international suffered a hamstring injury and was substituted in the 60th minute of the match. In the meantime, he pulled up his shirt over his face in tears as he risked missing out on the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this year.
However, Stam, who was watching the game, questioned Varane’s drama, telling he did not understand why the striker was so disappointed.
“He looked very sad. The game continued as he fell and he was still lying on the pitch. Then got up and regretted it. He seems to have a problem with the hamstring or something. But I still don’t know for sure. I don’t know how to talk about this. He might think he missed the World Cup. But I still don’t understand how to cry on the pitch like that.”
“In my opinion it should not come from a player in the centre-half position. You try to visualize yourself in that situation and question. Why he’s in a bad mood and why he has to. That’s what I thought,” Stam said.
